When performing on a stage, most of a DJs activity behind the desk remains invisible for the crowd. Pyramidi aims to change that. It is a MIDI Controller in shape of a tetrahedron. Each face of the object is a capacitive sensor, transmitting MIDI control changed or note triggers. Thus, the controller can be used as a drumkit, an effects unit, and instrument and much more. The transmitted values are visualized by illuminating the object from within. Every side triggers one base color of the RGB spektrum and when multiple sensors are triggered, the colors mix seamlessly, making the performance visible for everyone on the dancefloor.
